OOSH Educator

The Position

What you will do:

KKCS is looking for a casual educator to assist with the delivery our planned activities. You will also be responsible in always ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children.

The successful applicant must be available to work peak times including before and after school and holiday periods.

Kurri Kurri Community Services (KKCS) is a social enterprise that has been supporting communities in the Hunter Region for over 35 years.  We operate a portfolio of not-for-profit businesses that provide a wide range of supports and services to individuals, families, businesses, and other community-based organisations.

Kurri Kurri Community Services is experiencing an increasing demand for our services in the Hunter region as well as elsewhere in New South Wales.  We are looking for community minded and business savvy individuals to join us on our journey!

What you need to have:

  • A passion and ability to inspire and motivate young people.
  • A knowledge of Children Services Regulations including, The Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning culture.
  • A great communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
  • Child Protection Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Australian Federal Police Check
  • Meet the COVID Vaccination Requirements as per Public Health Order mandates.
